HealthExport
ProductivityDec 2025Analyze and export over 100 Apple Health metrics with interactive charts and zero cloud dependency.

Why I built this
Apple Health gathers biometric data, from sleep cycles and resting heart rate to VO2 max and HRV. But inspecting long-term multi-year trends or getting clean numbers out of the Apple ecosystem is frustrating. The built-in Health app focuses on daily summary cards, and Apple's native export generates a multi-gigabyte XML file that crashes most spreadsheet software.
Most third-party health export apps upload your sensitive records to remote cloud servers or lock basic CSV exports behind recurring subscriptions. I built a native iOS app that runs entirely on device, renders clean Swift Charts, compares vitals against medical longevity standards, and exports single-metric CSV files in one tap.
Analytics and single-metric CSV export features
HealthExport connects directly to local HealthKit records on your iPhone, giving you fast analytics and private data exports.
Exporting Apple Health metrics to CSV in one tap
Export any individual metric directly from its detail screen via the standard iOS Share Sheet. Filter by preset date ranges or choose custom calendar windows to get tidy, spreadsheet-ready CSV rows.
Analyzing long-term trends with Swift Charts
Explore smooth, responsive trend lines across weeks, months, or years. The charts filter outliers to show true baseline movements while letting you restore individual readings on demand.
Tracking 100+ cardiovascular and sleep metrics
Track metrics across cardiovascular health, sleep architecture, vitals, mobility, and nutrition. View daily averages, historical ranges, and cumulative totals without pagination delays.
Comparing vitals against clinical longevity benchmarks
Compare key markers such as VO2 max, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability against published American Heart Association (AHA) and ACSM age and gender population norms.
Custom date range filtering for training blocks
Select precise start and end dates to evaluate recovery blocks, training cycles, or lifestyle adjustments without calculating offsets manually.
Metric and imperial unit conversion
Switch between Metric and Imperial measurement standards. The app formats height, weight, and distance values dynamically based on your locale preferences.
On-device architecture and privacy
HealthExport is built entirely with Apple native frameworks: SwiftUI, Swift Charts, HealthKit, and CryptoKit. There are zero third-party cloud SDKs or remote databases. All HealthKit computations take place on your iPhone, and your health records never leave your physical device.
